If you scroll all the way to the bottom of this page you will see a disclaimer that reads: “TroySwezey.com is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com” which is funny since I am not supposed to tell you I have any association with Amazon. Anyway…
Since I stopped working for The Man I have been concentrating my efforts on the 16 websites I run including this one. I have been spending time beefing them up and writing articles for them and filtering off work to my employees who help me. (Hey wait, that make me The Man doesn’t it?) Since I have been working on the sites more and more people have been visiting and clicking around on my sites and buying items from The Website Whose Name Shall Not Be Mentioned even though it was named after a big river.
When the people click around and go to the Big River site they take with them a little code that tells the shopping site I sent them. When the people use my special link and buy something from the Big River website, the website sends me a small commission. They do not have to buy what the special link was pointing to, they can buy anything on the shopping site and I will get credit for it. The shopper does not pay any extra and I do not know who the shopper is. I do however know what the shopper bought and there have been some pretty cool things people have bought recently. Nothing super odd or crazy or fun like Astroglide though I am sure that day will come. (Oh wait, someone bought an Airsoft gun which is a replica firearm. It is used is a sport in which participants eliminate opponents by hitting each other with spherical non-metallic pellets. Does that count?)
So if you will be so kind, do me a little favor and think of me when you do your shopping on The Website Whose Name Shall Not Be Mentioned. There are links and banners all over the place here and a big one on the right. (Turn off your ad blocker if you do not see it.) It would help me out a ton as it is now my main source of income. Thank you again for your continued support.
So with that I give you:
